Detroit City of Hope (www.dcoh.org) will be sharing announcements of events on a weekly basis. We urge you to continue to check for updates
on the DCOH website calendar as well as continue to send us links to your community building work in our region and fliers
of events you know about or may be hosting.
**First and foremost, DCOH will be having its monthly meeting on Tuesday,
May 19th, at 6:30pm at the Boggs Center (3061 Field St.) In addition to organizational matters, the discussion will explore urban agriculture, corporate farming,
and community building. With interest in corporate farming on the rise, it is imperative that we as a community respond to
its potentially detrimental impact on community building and community health. Therefore, DCOH has invited several community food security activists to participate in our discussion
and share their thoughts/actions in working towards creating greater food parity and healthy communities.
